Office Chair User Instructions
Seat height adjustment
This is controlled by the lever on the front right hand side of the chair. Lift the lever and the chair will rise. If you are sitting the chair will lower.
Recline tension control
The tension of the backrest recline is increased or decreased by the hand wheel situated underneath the seat. Turning the wheel clockwise will decrease the tension, as required by the lighter individual. Turning the wheel anti-clockwise will increase the tension of the spring.
This will affect the amount of ‘give’ in the backrest when the chair is in free float mode.
Tilt mechanisms: Locking the backrest in the upright seated position
This is controlled by the lever on the front right hand side of the chair. Pull the lever outwards away from the chair to set the backrest in free float mode. Push the lever inwards towards the chair to lock the backrest in the upright seated position.
Synchro mechanisms: Locking the back in any one of five positions
This is controlled by a half turn of the lever on the front left hand side of the chair. Turn the lever upwards to set the backrest in free float mode. Recline the chair and turn the lever downwards to lock the backrest at the selected recline angle.
Height (and width) adjustable arms
HEIGHT: Where this option is available, the height of the armrests is adjusted via a ratchet mechanism. 4 different heights are achieved by lifting the arm a single ratchet at a time.
WIDTH: Where this option is available, the arms can be extended outwards away from the seat via the small hand wheel under the seat. Loosen the hand wheel, extend the arm outwards to the required position and retighten the hand wheel.
